I got these Subwoofer Options; help me choose

I live in Venezuela, and because of the international trade barriers, are condemned to only being able to purchase between the subwoofer systems that I define as follows:

1) Audiobahn Eternal awes15p - Quantity: 2

2) Soundstream RBW-15 - Quantity: 3

3) Kicker CVX 15 - Quantity: 2

4) Soundstream Reference R1 - Quantity: 1

5) T9515-44 - MTX Thunder 9500 - Quantity: 1

The quantities were simply determined by dividing my budget for subwoofers by their corresponding unit prices, so as to approximately deplete my budget.

Now comes my detailed description of what exactly I'm looking for, to help you to correctly choose my system. My previous subwoofer system was composed of two Kicker CVR 15. While I liked their SPL, I hated their SQ, since they sounded horridly on songs with transient notes; they could not blend the notes and rock songs like from dreamtheater sounded horrible. So I want a subwoofer system whose SPL is no less that of my previous system, but with a better SQ. So, you would help me define which of these 5 subwoofer systems would have at least the SPL power from two CVR 15, but with the best SQ of them (of course, it should have better SQ than the CVR 15, if this is not possible, please let me know)

Lastly, please determine whether if a ported or a sealed box would better suit my needs with the subwoofer system that you choose as the best for me, and if it does fit in a Jeep Liberty's back (losing all the car's back to the subwoofer is not a problem).

I hope I could explain my needs with enough detail. Thank you very much for all help.

Come on guys, more than 24 hours have elapsed since I started this thread, still having no replies.

This is important for me, and I'm confident that this is the best forum for gaining quality insights onto car audio.

Here's a tip. Instead of narrowing your subs down, list a budget instead. More people will help, just sort through the funky pup recommendations that will ensue. I know I personally wouldn't want any of those woofers. I would be curious about the Reference R1 only because I know nothing about it.

he said he is limited to those products. Just read a little more next time.

In my opinion i would go with the MTX9500 15". I owned 2 12"7500s and really liked them. I have read a lot of people on this forum arent too pleased with them, but if i were you i would go with MTX. Do a larger ported box @ ~34-36hz.

But does a single MTX 9500 provide more SPL than two kicker CVR 15? Also remember that I'm looking for some better SQ than what the Kicker CVR can provide, so I would go with MTX 9500 only if their SPL and SQ is greater than what the Kicker CVR can provide.

What type of box do you have your current subs in. You may want to experiment with different boxes before purchasing new subs just a thought. Expecially considering you are unlimited on room.

I had them on a custom made sealed box (no idea of their measures, the builder supposedly did them on the kicker recommended measures). Anyways I want new subwoofers, with better quality than the CVRs, without accounting for the enclosure/installation variable.

So, I still remain with the question on which of the 5 subwoofer options posted in the initial post would deliver better SQ and SPL than the CVRs.

the mtx would probably be the loudest, audiobahn went out of business but good sub, the kicker cvx probably wont give you the sq, the soundstream R1 wont be the loudest but has good sq so i would recommend the soundstream R1 it will be decently loud and good sq

neither the kicker or the MTX is gonna give you good sq of the 2 choices the MTX is better kicker hasnt made a decent sq sub in over 10 yrs. the cvt line is the only sub they make now that is even decent IMO. I can ship anywhere in the world so if you are open to other options let me know , I would recommend a single 1615 Olympus and a 2000 watt monoblock 1 ohm amp.
