I got some Kicker L7's last night

Last night I go over to a friends house and we were supposed to work on his car. When I pulled into his neighborhood I see him buying two Kicker 15' L7's from a mutual friend.

They carry the box to his car (86 Chevrolet Caprice Classic, Brougham)The crappy part is the box does not fit in his trunk. Then he decides to switch boxes with me assuming mine will fit in his trunk. I had two Audiopipe I pipes 15" whites. The box fits in his trunk. His box with the L7's fit in my trunk with ease (92 Mercury Grand Marquis) So basically I got two Kicker L7's for a trade for my Ipipes. Which do you think will be louder off a solid 3000 watt amp? I hope I didn't screw myself cause those I pipes were beasts.

it depends what coiles does the l7's have

They are the 06 version, Dual 2 ohm.

2 d2 will be wired at .5 or 2 ohm so you gott get a amp that does good power at one of those loads

Yeah my pipes were the same, dual 2 ohm. They banged pretty well.

Get a ZX2500 and power those L7's with it

The ipipes are dual 4ohm, btw...

and I'd rather have the AP's vs L7's any day...

I have never seen an AP sub with dual 2 ohm VC's.

That's from their 2008 catalog. I know those are the 2008 subs because they have 3" VC's, unlike the 2007 and previous models with 2.5" VC.
