Be patient man, Sure I know it sucks and yeah there is a chance you will never get your money back or the murchandise but at least it was not more then $220. Claims take a long time to process most of the time, just keep pursuing it in your free time but dont let it ruin your life. If all else fails just chalk it up to expierence.

Its only money man, I worry about a lot of stuff but money is just money. It comes and goes. No need to stress over paper and material stuff. Lots more other things more important.

I dont have it set up with a CC....?Paypal has all the info you need. You dont have to include a SSN, but you do have to submit a billing address. Just act like your going to sign up and check out what you info you have submit. I dont know if they can divuldge (sp?) that info though. Contact local law enforcement, explain your situation, and they should be able to help or atleast point you in the right direction.

One way or the other there is someone that can help...Hope you get whats yours, and hope he gets whats coming to him.

EDIT: As a matter of fact, I bought a set of compression horns from a canadian, UPS lost the package. I cant get ahold of the guy in Canada. The only thing thats remotely saving my chance of getting my money back is the documentation through Paypal...

Let me break it down for you...

In order to hold a Paypal account in a country OUTSIDE the US (see: international) you must use a credit card...you cannot use your bank account.

Yea, pay pal when I signed up they had to have my address then they sent me like a penny to my account and I had to give them some more details about that. They got all the info on that person for you. Just get on there *** about it. They needed so much info from me, not just after I signed up that wasnt much info they needed. but later on they wanted all kinds of info. To verify that it was me. Or get that kids phone number. Call up and find out who the carrier was. Then call them up and explain to them the problem and see if they can give you any type of info on him. If they wont deal with you get the person you talk to and take your info to the police and have them call and get his details. My dads a police offers so I know some stuff has been done like that before.

Good luck with it. Dont let it stop you from buying off classifieds. Just research the people you are getting it from. REf's etc. If they dont have none, get the item COD( cash on delivery) that means he sends it out to you. Once you get the package you pay the ups guy. That way you know you are getting the item. I have not had to do this yet, But if I did buy from someone that didnt have ref I would go this route.
