I got mono... and it sux bad!

Well 2 days ago my throat was getting sore and I noticed my lymph nodes in my neck were swollen.. That night I woke up 3 times cause my throat was hurting so bad.. Looked at my throat that morning and saw my tonsils were swollen and covered in puss.. Strep throat I though! SO i set up an appointment for 9:00 this morning.. Yesterday i was tired ALL day.. Throat was so sore it hurt terribly when I swallowed.. Had to give an oral final exam in public speaking and that sucked balls... Last night I got maybe 2 hours of sleep from 9:00-7:30.. My throat was getting worse..

Went to the doc this morning and found out its mono instead of strep throat.. Which sucks! Said it could take a month for the symptoms to disappear.. Right now I can't even eat, but at least I ain't getting hungry..Hurts bad when I drink...Worst thing is I probably won't be able to deer hunt for a week or two.. Well I could, but I won't feel like it.. Now I am just waiting to see if my girlfriend gets it too..

Anyone else had any experience with mono?
