loyd said something about if u had a sub that had tinsel slap, that there was a recomended way to stop it, do any of yall know what that way is???

I forgot what it's called....but it's a little expanding foam gasket type of thingamabob that you put around the tinsel leads and stops them from slapping against the cone....i'll look around for the exact name.

well its got the little pad thats on the cone to prevent tinsel slap but something is still rattling

Try mounting the subs inversely, then reversing the polarity so you can get a look at what exactly is making the noise...

i did that already, the tinsels were moving hardbut i didnt see how it could be making a noise b/c the only thing that it ishitting is the little pad, i tryed putting my finger on thetinsel to hold it from hitting the cone and the sub still made a rattling noise
