I got a Mazda speed3. OMFG.

Okay i just bought a Mazda speed3. It is being shipped with in the week to me. It should take no longer than 5 weeks to get here and i am losing my mind waiting. I was wondering if any of you car buffs are up on the hot parts for it? I want to put a good intake and exaughst (maybe a test pipe tehee) on it and what is the best to be had. I will include pictures when it gets off the ferry. We GIs have to wait for anything good . I wanna tune this badboy up but the mazda speed parts are crazy pricey. Little help from you turbo/engine gurus?

Injen put out an intake that supposedly bumps it up about 30 horsepower. The numbers are always pretty exagerrated but you could check out Cardomain.com. Thats where I saw the article. It'd be nice if the speed3 was AWD like the speed6 my buddy in our club has. Once you had a little power to it you might want to try to find any possible suspension mods or engine mounts or something to reduce wheel hop and keep your tires planted.

shitty cars. speed protoge's are garbage as are the 3's. the only worth "talking about" is the 6.

We are trading the protospeed my brother has for a honda accord i believe. Complete junk through and through. Everyone we know with any speed other than the 6 (miata included in the crap department) are having it in the shop FAR more than driving it.

wow you're an idiot. the mazda speed 6 is a great car, the 3 is a good hot hatch and the miata is one of the best drivers cars dollar for dollar that you can possibly buy. much better than the sky and pontiac roadsters.
