Well, as you may know I am graduating from Michigan Tech in just over a week and have been applying and interviewing for jobs over the past few months. Today I got an offer for a job at ArcelorMittal in Burns Harbor, Indiana. I also got a job offer in from Cree in North Carolina today. I am extremely excited right now, it is a huge weight off my shoulders to know I will be able to pay back loans etc. I believe I am going to take the job with Cree but I will have to look over benefits etc. before I make my final choice.

Cree seems to be a decent company. They have a bunch of facilities around the Triangle, just stay out of the seedy parts of Durham and you'll be set.

That's pretty much exactly what the people that were from the area said, stay out of some areas of Durham. However if I work there I will definitely try to catch some Durham Bulls games, hopefully they're as entertaining as the movie Bull Durham, lol.
