Well if you guys saw on soundsolution forum, i was the first to pick up one of jacobs proto's and it came in today after i hauled A$$ after the UPS man (second time this week) like i was chasing the ice cream man. Well anyways took the package up stairs to feast my eyes on what IMO is pretty much a brand new amp, not used.

SO ONTO THE PICS! They are all thumbnails and i should have used a damp rag to get the little dust off.

This is not your everyday entry line amp by no means. This thing is solid, heavy high quality amp which has no right to be called a Entry Level Amp, but ill be able to compare to the 100.4 when it arrives hopefully by this friday :).

Jacob, it been a pleasure doing buisness and all i can say is WOW! keep up the good work and continue making kick *** amps that we all enjoy.

I have some comments or considerations on my part. The 3 bigger black sections on the casing looks great and imo better then the 5 smaller ones, i also like the new logo, but understand if you want a little different look for a new line.

THX AGAIN, New Pics of the 100.4 and gut shots of both soon to come

MIKE

Yep, I'm trying to make the SAE line stick out from the SAX and SAZ lines //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Glad you like the looks of it, I was very pleased with how the protos came out. Specs on this guy are pretty much the same as the SAZ-1500D except less power, won't handle the low impedance, and won't handle the high voltage. Still a very solid built amplifier, and very tiny for it's power output.

bridged 100.4 which ill have tommorow with pics in this thread. 300 x 2 @ 4 which i think is probably 20 - 30 watts underrated?

Anyways, couple ?'s Jacob. How would i go about bridging the sae-1000D, i see there are Br in's and out's for bridging but no switch to make master or slave, do i just pick the one i would want in the future and set the cross overs on that one only? also do u have any manual or something for how to set up the amp, im little newbish. Also it accepts 4 gauge power ground correct? Got some specs? I see there a slot for remote bass knob, do you have these available yet for the sae-1000D im in no need to purchase now, just curious if it something i could buy in near future.

Mike,

The SAX-100.4 is not quite as underrated as the SAX-100.2 is, but you are looking at 20 - 30 extra watts over rated still when bridged.

Whichever unit has BR IN connected is the slave by default, no switches necessary. The master controls all settings as well, no need to mess with the slave at all. You can actually use the SAZ-1500D manual on the web-site, everything is the same except power output, low impedance stability, and high voltage input handling (THD, etc are all the same).

4 AWG power / ground is correct.

You can use any remote on any Sundown amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif So yah, I do have extras laying around.

I'm thinking a solid pure SQ SAX-250.2 paired with a SAZ-1500D would be freaking awesome..... I would also think you would get some serious business out of that.....that combo would be the bomb.

Yessir, one quality entry level amp pushing 1000 x 1 @ 1. Im glad i just was one of the first to see the thread over at teamssaudio forum's for 210 shipped. CRAZY DEAL IMO. I still peeing my pants im so glad.

unfortunately, im a broke highschool kid, who is dying from the cost of wiring, labor for install, and a box and deadening and set of kick panels. I still need about 700$ for parts still and labor.

O well, i guess ull have to just be happy with pics here and there.
