So, My buddy dropped by with his '96~ Firebird and a pair of these cheap *** Mutant X 10"s (like $50/ea). I sold him my DB1100D and told him I would hook it all up for him for free.... Anyways, he had these subs in a TINY sealed box smashed down into the little cargo area if his Firebird and that fukkin thing hits! Nothing extremely crazy but it is pretty **** loud!

Then, at the local comps, there is a guy with a CRX and a single 10" walmart Pioneer sub and a little 600W walmart pioneer amp an a small ported box and he does 146+ with LITERALY a $100~ system....

bastards! I should have kept my CRX (sold it about a year ago, JUST before I got into the SPL scene... I actualy sold it to buy my 6500D and HDC315)

its really hard to fit a 15 in the rear cargo area of a f body lol but not hard to get loud

Its true. Ive had many different subs and set ups in my f body. I think my loudest was a pair of DD 1508s in a small (SHITTY) ported box, firing up, port firing to drivers side.. It was in the rear well area thing, 125 rms per sub, tickled your nose good. Any other placement of any subs in that car was not really that loud IMO. But ya, hatchbacks will get loud. Got two cvr 12s in that area in a box i made, firing up and port to drivers side, gets pretty loud and even off lower power.

wrong. its REALLY easy. its open air cabin. trunks are hard. closed, rattling, poopy. it sucks and is hard to get loud
