I Found The Beater!

Old Yamahas Give Me Wood
I just found the car that will be next year's TEAM MSHA SPL Beater:

A nicely cared for granny-owned goldish-brown 1984 Chevy Monte Carlo!

My girlfriend's dad traded one of his cars for it and let me have it for the bargain basement price of $400. I don't know which way I will go at this point, but as always, I'm open for suggestions. My ideas at this point are as follows:

1. Build a wall. Use trunk for battery and amps.

2. Rip out back seat and all interior moldings. Replace moldings with a couple layers of liquid asphalt and Brown Bread. Build trunk size box and use back seat area for face of box and amp/battery mounting.

The system will consist of all the equiptment that is in my truck now, plus a second sub, a JBL 180.2 and a set of MB Quart 6.5 comps in the kicks.

Either way, the goal is at least 5.0 cubic feet per sub with about 160 cubic inches of port. If anyone knows a good estimate for res. freq. of a monte carlo, let me know. I'm expecting no less than 150db's, but will settle for high 140's. Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated!
