In essence you can. I think you know what I'm talking about, but to clarify, for example:with P-EQ you can't touch 100hz & 125hz no matter what the bandwidth.

G-EQ you can

Though the fixed Q isn't necessarily nice, I just prefer g-eq. I switch back and forth occassionally, but usually wind up going back to G-EQ.

I see what you're saynig, but if memory serves me correctly you CAN do just that with the 11 band on the eclipse.

I am perfectly fine and happy with a geq with enough bands though, such as the 800/880 prs 16 band. With the 7200 you can make the bands "overlap". The Q, as you've said, can be adjusted for as wide as you'd like. I take it that means if you adjust the 100Hz band and use a Q value of 50, all the way down to 75Hz and all the way up to 125Hz will be adjusted together with the 100Hz band. That's what the owner's manual says anyway.

Well sort of, the Q is in single digits though, 1,2,3,4,5 IIRC.
