I cannot stomach the thought of a Democrat getting into office. It's not so much that I don't like abortion or gay marriage... it's the fact that they want a bigger government.
I am a firm believer that government should defend its constituents from other nations and from one another. I think it is a mistake that the government has involved itself in nearly every aspect of Americans' lives. Healthcare, education, retirement, welfare... the list goes on and on.

Unfortunately, these programs are already in place and there are so many people who rely on them. As my mother said, "That tube of toothpaste has already been squeezed." There's no going back.

It's a slippery slope that the US government is precariously peering over. If the government starts a state-sponsored healthcare program, and takes away our guns, that's a giant bound towards communism. It's a bad idea. I greatly appreciate my personal freedom.

Also, I just read that Clinton is in favor of garnishing wages of people that do not want to buy into her universal healthcare plan. She is saying that you have no choice. You must pay for everyone else. If anyone wants a link I think I might be able to find it again.

O my F*cking hell. How can you simply say"Bush hasn't done the best job" like hes not all that bad and yet say Obama and clinton disgust you? I really truly can not comprehend this. I do not agree with everything obama says, nor hillary. Nevertheless, it is common sense to see they will run the country far better than President bush.

the 2 party system is outdated 500 years. we need to categorize politicians a whole different way, and media coverage/how much money your campaign has shouldn't matter.

It's hard to understand how, out of a country with a population of roughly 300 million, we can't find one candidate that you can stomach, let alone get enthused about.

Its not common sense to see that just because its new or a democrat that things will get better. Different isn't always better, sometimes its more of the same.

First of all, that is my way of saying that I don't like the job Bush is doing.

Second of all, I would rather have a republican in office than Clinton or Obama. The ideas that I don't agree with them on are much more important to me than the ideas I don't agree with Bush on.

I am not going to argue politics though. I won't change anyone else's mind and no one is going to change mine.
