I have a stinger 1 farad cap, with a 500/1 jl amp, if i get a 1000 watt amp and run a series alpine amp will the 1 farad cap work well still.

It will do exactly what a capacitor is supposed to do.

just install the amp, and see how your electrical system takes it. If you have diming problems, then you can go from their.
