My last 4 cars were 5 and 6 speeds. While it's nice to have that extra control, the DSG in my VW still gives me a similar feeling, and it's much easier on me in heavy stop-and-go traffic.

i love driing manual on my highway comute to work but in the city I drive my auto

I ALWAYS reach for a clutch pedal and then I do it again when I'm going to my first stop. After that I am somewhat good to go, LOL.

I rarely drive auto, both my cars are stick. The next ones will be as well. I cannot stand autotragica.
