Ok i have a problem i want to upgrade again. I want to run an 18 because there so darn bad *** looking. SO here is the thing i want to keep the amp i am running right now which is a Fusion PP-AM2000.1 which is capable of running at .5 ohm and can easily at 1 ohm. It is rated at an underrated 1200 RMS @ 1ohm. With that said...

I cant decide on what 18 to run. I know 1200 isn't allot bu it sure can push an 18 I know that. I Cant decide between a Fi BL18 (maybe BTL) with all the options or an IA Death Penalty. what should i get??? also what bat should i snag up?

if you are running only 1200 then you need to stay away from a btl, you do not have enough power. it needs ateast 2000rms. get a BL it will take the 1200 like a champ

if your looking at ~1500rms.. probably Fi BL, Soundsplinter RLP, RD Alpha....

How about running it at one ohm on a DC lv4 18?

get a BL you wont be dissapointed. a hc2400 would be good for a backup

lol.. i used to think like that. then i just started buying and testing out because you'll probably never have the same setup for more than 6 months to a year with new subs and styles always coming out. the 1 and only 18" ive had so far is a soundsplinter rlp. i had it in a 5.6cf box tuned to 30hz in my extended cab on my old SAZ1500. it sounded awesome, but could of used a much bigger box to pound the lows, probably 7cf or so. thats all i would have changed with that setup

theres no way to determine bro...

find a sub that will like 1200-1500rms and go from there.

testing and expermenting is the best way to learn in CA.
