i cant burnout, why?

well i have a 98 clk kompressor mercedez benz. i can get that ***** to go like crazy. if its wet at all itll do a good burnout for a while, but compeltely dry, i sually hold the brake a lil bit...

also in my 98 blazer, i cant burn out well, but i can get teh back end drifing w/ nothing, just turn and a lil gas and its gone... pretty sweeeeeeeeeeeeet

well why wont the RPMs go past 2000 with it floored?

Torque converter is not getting enough pressure to move the fluid past the stall?

Maybe that.

I read the first chapter or so, seems pretty cool. I like his language, Its not hard to grasp at all.

I had a s10 that would easlily burn them thru 3 rd gear, i could start in 1st or 2nd with out giving it any gas and it would start a rolling(5 spd obviously) and i could then just punch it and make the tires talk. ohh yea it had a rebuilt 350 under the hood...

now my mazda that i have now can let them go thru most of first, i could probally make them bark second if i wanted to beat on it (5 speed as well)

most new model dodge trucks suvs have traction control on the rear my 04 dakota quad cab does and it won;t burn out for long even with hokding the brake. and i have some seriuos mods on mine i crank out near 400 horses out of the 4.7 l magnum

my **** Tahoe acts like a ***** when it comes to burnin out. I can't even get it to chirp in first. If were in dirt though itll go like hell. That shiza is a 98 and havnt had anything done besides changin the oil in it since we got it.

even with traction on you should get some kind of burnout, my caddy does haha, but theres a button on my shifter to turn it off, check you should have one.
