I just installed my new DEH 80MP head unit, and I can't believe it will no display the FM station info, like call letters and song info. Is there a way to make it do this?

no pioneer do not do that. I think Blau is the only company that has that feature for the radio. BUt for cd, ur cd needs to be cd text in coded. Or u can just name them ur self.

It is incredible what you said about Blaupunkt, that is exactly what I took out and replaced with the Pioneer. I really wish it would do it though.

Yeah most new decks except oem have RDS or radio data system.... It is a totally cool feature I wish they had!

My old (circa 2001) Kenwwod eXcelon had RDS, but the majority of the stations where I lived didn't broadcast it. Its neat but useless unless you live in area that has stations who broadcast the data.
