To better understand and for pics:

http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=261538

So i went and checked out the TransAm, I was amazed with the condition; better than in pictures I must say. There were only 3 things wrong with it

a) broken left mirror - still functional but he had the replacement mirror in the trunk which he of course included, i just have to paint match and put it on.

b)the left midbass doesnt work - who cares? it's going to be ripped apart anyway along with the rest of the "moonsoon" system //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

c)going into reverse - it's a BIT hard to but into reverse, i believe it is just a spring from going to R that I need to checkout.

It's a 6 speed and has the WS6 package- just got to 43k miles. New tires with receipts and all maintinance records. It even came with Lojack //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I am one happy guy especially since it's my birthday tommorrow //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif great present to myself.

I do have a question about the steering wheel however; the steering wheel controls the volume, seek, am/fm, mute and play buttons. When I put an aftermarket deck in there; how easy or is it even possible to keep those controls functional?

Also, anyone see or know how hard it is to fit a double din in that bish?

im pretty sure PAC has an adapter that will allow you to use your steering wheel controls for the aftermarket deck, dam good pickup id say. First mods???

okay.

Very sweet ride! I test drove a Camaro SS and a TA WS6 on the same day a long time ago. Same engine and 6spd ****** setup, but I really liked the TA better, it just looks so much more aggressive, imo. 30mpg hwy is a huge bonus, too.

Happy birthday to you indeed!

I will def. look into that for sure.

mods? i am going to have to look at my financial situation first with school and the car now(had to finance 4k) and see what from there. I probably will not mod till feb-march time and really go nuts during summer time on it. No more buying car audio on credit for me.
