I think the bike you picked is perfect for an intro rider whos just starting out. It should have plenty of low-end power for you and suit well. I mean, a big ol' 450 four stroke would obvioulsy be too much for a beginner.....Back when I was looking into a new bike I was lookin at the new 250 2 strokes, at the time a four stroke 250 wouldnt have been quite enough. Nowadays I would get one of the 450's in a heartbeat.

i said ok... and stopped rideing... the funnything is i was holding a beer can in my front teeth.. had to stop. grab the beer can from my mouth and say, what seams to be the problem officer.. he said where's the helmet.. i said uhhh i dunno, got off and walked away like my dog just died...

Wish I still had time to ride and didn't sell my bikes, I used to race the 125 novice class. Should be the perfect bike for you to learn on but you'll want more real quick.

I started out on an Xr100 and then to a CR250..... one hell of a step up. Take it to a track. You'll have a blast. Wish I still had my bike,

its a crf230f

brand new 07 left over...

i havent even gotten above 3rd gear yet, and its plenty fast for me...

i wrecked into a fence awalago though :/ not real sure what happened but im guessing it was user error...didnt break anything though...

its not that expensive...i pay less then a 100 a month for this bike...im gonna try and pay it off as fast as i can though...

and right now im just riding around my house, but my friend knows a bunch of places to ride...

Just got a 98 KX250 for my first bike haha. (People complained about this bike bike being to "violent".) I have plenty of experince on quads and i just traded my one quad for this bike. I love it!

The key to riding is not to be afraid of it, but to respect it.
