I **** at wiring!

no that isnt the problem.
maybe the amp was toast to begin with
Hmmm. Well i'm trading it for a MTX thunder 250D on monday, hopefully that one works better. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about that particular amp?

mtx makes good quality stuff, so there shouldnt be any trouble.
Yeah, but the amp that was supposedly clipping was an MTX also. I've heard good stuff about MTX also and thats why i'm looking at the 250D. It's 2ohm stable and supposedly pretty efficient and underrated. How underrated usually are these MTX's?

who knows youd have to get a bench test on yours to be exact, because its not likely that they are the same....

You can make pretty much any amp clip with the wrong settings.....F.Y.I

Some have clipping protection, but most dont
