it turns out that my dad tells me the chip was taken out when he got the truck inspected and now he doesn't know where it is, so he can't prove it to me, so yes it very likely was all a lie, intentionally from me? no... ..

well i'm glad people are getting banned... this thread was really started because of my frustration...
i really don't understand why?...

even with the italian chip thread from the very beginning i said i had no clue for sure, but my dad told me thats what was in it...

but no one would leave it at that, they kept prying and prying, and getting me to say more things that i again said i had no clue about, it was just what i was told...

i asked too many times to count to just forget about the chip cause i couldn't prove that and didn't know for sure and just comment about the audio system since thats what this forum is supposed to be about... turns out i got about 4 posts about the audio, most of which, where sarcastic...

Cot, this is not even a close call. You think that your own father lied to you and is continuing to lie to you. That is just bizzare. I can tell you that my father would have given me his advice and let me decide whether to follow it. But his advice would have been based on the truth. His credibility is worth more than whatever I would have benefited from following his advice. As a result, I willingly seek out his advice.
