I just did everything you guys said but my subs were cutting in and out when i just turned my radio on. I get it, all the positives to positives and all negatives to negatives. I did that but why am i getting a humming noise from my subs and why do they cut in and out. Ill check to see if it goes into protect.your problem is you don't listen/read. you have a diagram as well as people spelling it out yet you keep replying saying the same shit. How could your 1 ohm capable amp not be capable of being wired for 1 ohm? It's as simple as reading and doing what has been written to you. wire the shit like the diagram says and turn up the gain on your amp. worry about clipping and bridging a little later. Asking questions is fine, but paying attention to the given answers is sexx
i have a class d amp. I think thats the problem.
i just did that and when i tested them out they both made a humming noise and quit working for a second and kept turning off and on. Theres gotta be something wrong with something. I hooked everything up right so im not understanding this at all right now.
