i am so lost.....

use both sets of terminals on the amp. hook positive to positive on each sub, and run it to a positive terminal on the amp. repeat with the other sub, and then do the same with the negatives on each.

thats what im doing. I am putting a positive from each sub in one positive amp terminal and a negative from each sub into one negative amp terminal. And its not doing crap. The subs come on but are barely moving even at full volume.

Does my amp have to be bridgeable to get 1 ohm. It says its 1 ohm stable.

heres how i have it hooked up to my amp.......

2 positives on far left terminal ----- 2 neg. on far right terminal

Here dude, wire them like this:
2_4ohmDVC_1ohm.gif
please do this and turn the gain up a little on the amp

okay, take your first sub, and hook the 2 positives together. then run a single wire from either positive of that sub to a positive on your amp.

hook the two negatives together. then run a single wire from either negative to a negative on your amp.

do the same with your other sub.

set your gains.

Is is that tough? wire your subs as in the diagram and then take the +wire to the left most +ve terminal on the amp and take the -ve wire to the rightmost -ve terminal. If that does not work try the other two remaining terminals.

And I have a headache.

all right. if they are exactly how the diagram shows, and your amp is in working order, you are getting a 1ohm load.

if you don't have test tones and a DMM to set your gains, then just turn the volume up to the loudest you want to listen to, and then slowly adjust your gains until you get some distortion, or until you think it's loud enough. then back it down just a tad.

your problem is you don't listen/read. you have a diagram as well as people spelling it out yet you keep replying saying the same shit. How could your 1 ohm capable amp not be capable of being wired for 1 ohm? It's as simple as reading and doing what has been written to you. wire the shit like the diagram says and turn up the gain on your amp. worry about clipping and bridging a little later. Asking questions is fine, but paying attention to the given answers is sexx
