Wow I can't believe this has still not been resolved yet. I think this may be a simple fix. When I had the pxa-h800 up and running before I came across this problem before. I remember taking my car to a mechanic one day for whatever reason and then came back to find out my dsp couldn't play any music. Was scratching my head for a while but then I just plugged in my laptop to the dsp, connect it to the software and voila~ it just started working like it was before. Everytime you disconnect the battery, it will temporarily not work until you get that laptop plugged in. I don't know about the rux controller tho as I never bought it. So everytime my battery is disconnected, I make sure to have the laptop handy. Kinda annoying but it's a really simple fix tho. The configurations/setup that you have will never be deleted or erased. You can only override the 6 presets, not erase. I have even tried a hard reset on mine and it never erased any of my presets.

yeah it seems like you just have to turn it on and select whatever preset you used to set it up and it should work. he cant seem to power it up. it could be battery related if the mechanic didn't reconnect a power run they had.

Surely there'll be a story from him something like: "just got back from Tims and everything works GREAT again!!!! It was a wiring issue somehow the mechanic f c u c k e d it up"....mutherfucker we told ya in the beginning it was!!!!!

Had to take Baby II into the shop for some work, so I turned off my system via the HU, then after my shop fixed the mechanicals I turned on my system via the HU AND THE F U C K ING DSP did NOT turn back on! F U C K! :-( Pushed all the F U C K ING buttons on the RUX controller, got the DSP and amps turned back on but now THEY DO NOT WORK! IOW there is NO sound!!
This is B U L L S H I T!! Now I've gotta take it all back to Tim to get my audio system to play audio again!! And I;m gonna have him explicitly show me how to do it, AND I'm gonna write down every

d a m n thing he does to make it work, then verify before I leave Tim's company that I can reproduce turning this POS system back on again!!

Grr grr grr! :-(

I'm taking my sub and 6x9 down to Custom Sounds tomorrow and get Tim to show me how to recover the DSP from the battery unplugged on mnt WinXP laptop, USB connected. He got the DSP working once, I need him to show me how to do it!

I have a lot more time and money than patience! I need the education from Tim and any techs Custom Sounds can replace the drivers. And I will have it all working again in ONE DAY!

I deserve this!

It's gonna work again and it's gonna be fabulous! And I'm gonna be careful, I'm gonna ask them if they have a scope to set the amp gains too. Hope so!

Better draw up and print off a list of specs and work expected!
