Ok so about a month and a half ago i traded my old pickup for a nice four wheeler.... just signed the title over to the guy..he said he would get it notorized blah blah blah... i noticed todaythat it still shows that the title is still in my name so i called theguy and he said o yea i sent it in and put the truck in my friends name it usually takes about a week...its been a month and still nothing so now he wont answer my calls or messages or give me his address nothing.. so tomorrow i guess im going to the dmv to try to settle it. Why cant people have common sense that if they do someting like this there not gonnna get away with it

I'd just call the cops and say it was stolen. Then you can have the truck, and a 4 wheeler.

You should not hand over titles until you are at the DMV and you are doing it right there.

$0.25 and you could've had a copy and been fine, matter of fact I believe it says right at the bottom of the title you need to keep a copy for 6 months unless you do it all at the dmv.

well i messed up... there is a way I found out that i can get online and get a bill of sale...but it would cost like $20 and if i just go to dmv tomrrow they might be able to settle it..hopefully

Hope it don't break down, If it gets towed you are responsible for all charges including storage. And for parking tickets as well.
