well heres what im gonna do. im going to my buds casa right now and hook up the octane amp with 50 watts to each xenon and see how it sounds. then i am going to bridge it into two channels and play just the fronts and see what the performance gap is...any suggestions for ebay auth resellers i should check out?

Why did'nt you check the amps specks before you bought it? Don't ever trust a saleman at face value, double check all statments to verify there validity.

If you really want a jump in performance go for a 100 x4 RMS amp, the audible difference between 50 watts and 75 watts is small(+1.5DB) but 50 and 100watts is quite noticable(+3DB).

UPDATE alright so i passed on the barbed bat idea, and went down yesterday and they took back the amp and gave me a JBL Grand Touring Series 75.4 (104watts x 4 at 4 0hms) for just a tad bit more money. the guy that sold me it wasn't there but another guy was helpful and let me return the amp back against store policy and discounted the JBL bc I said I want my $back and I will go buy else where bc i didn't have enough cash for their more powerful amps. i got it bumpn last night and my xenons and tantrums really sound awesome. all in all, i am happy, didn't even have to use the bat...
