I am an idiot LOOK at my mistake USAMPS

I miss my VLX400, was a HELL of an amp. I use to be a dealer way back in the day when USamps used the 400 as a welder at CES hahaha. Kicked the snot out of all the other amps at the show //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

blah blah blah... not that good of an amp anyways. good, but nothing to lose sleep over.
If that's your opinion, you're entitled to it.

My opinion is that you are out of your **** mind and have no clue. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Been running US Amps for over a decade now and they're still shutting down the non-believers. And I used to work for a shop that sold them also.

i never said they ****... just wouldn't lose any sleep over one. i think their ugly as hell and get a little too hot. us amps are not good at all mounting them in areas that aren't ventilated very well.

Mine is vertically mounted and was beside my laptop bag and duffle bag in a trunk with very little ventilation. I drove seven hours straight today and it barely got warm.

THat was the one and only time I went to ces . I remember the welding vividly. Nothing like an amp that can deal with a dead short and keep cranking //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I would say it is very safe to say they will handle a very low load //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I had a usa 200 & 400 in the rear trunk of my MR2 totally sealed and under glass running 2 ohm on the usa-400. Never died / never overheated *LOL* Got so hot that you could fry eggs on it though and it started to melt the vinyl cover that was touching the amp!

I do not know crap about the new us amps, but the old usamps are legendary. Right next to the old hcca that I still have a scar from "layed my arm across it after some serious playtime, Blistered the crap out of me"

Only downside to my old vlx400 was trying to find a vehicle it fit in. A mini truck guy that I sold it to, had to cut his rear doors to fit the amp hahaha.
