ok well here is the problem. My friend sold me this amp and told me it was a vlx-400. I bought it for a good price but found the end cap on one side said vlx-200. I thought I got ripped but the price I paid still wasn't bad so whatever. Well I trade the amp for a sundown. And I get a call from the buyer, this isn't the amp he was suppose to get. Im like what do you mean he said the board isn't a vlx-200.

WHAT????? So I look at the pics I posted up and low and behold sits a VLX-400

One endcap musta been lost and just replaced.

Wow! Wished I had viewed the original thread. I would have told you that that was definitely a VLX 400 instead of a 200. US Amps did not make too many amps in that 44 inch heatsink. Used to work at a shop that was a US Amps dealer.
