hx2 wiring

ok, i think im going to get an hx2, not sure what amp yet, but how would i go about wiring this? ive never wired a dual voice coil sub, just my weak punch z, so could anyone help?

is it dual4ohm or dual2ohm sub?

well, for a 4ohm load...take a wire from the pos. of one coil to the neg. of the other. Then the left over pos. and neg. from the sep coils...run to your amp. For a 1ohm load, run both pos. and both neg. to the amp. peace

you gotta be sure...

punch HX2 is dual 4 ohm

power HX2 is dual 2 ohm

ya, well the power is the one im getting, unless i find a better sub that hits harder for the same price that my local shop can get or carries....

power HX2's can pump like crazy~

only problem is in cost, so that's why people prefer to go get something else... and there are subs for that price which CAN get louder.

If you feel uncomfortable purchasing from the net, I guess your shop's gonna have to do it... it'd be a waste to see all that money go on full retail prices though. You can get the power subs for a decent price on the net.
