HX2 Fosgate Sub

I recently bought the Fosgate 601s which is rated at 300w x 2 @ 2 ohms and 600w x 1 @ 4 ohms. I have Fosgate HX2 10' sub which is rated at 400w RMS and 800w peak. Does this mean I can bridge the sub w/o blowin it? Or will I blow it if i bridge the sub?

Are you sure thats a hx2? I haven't seen hx2's with that rms! But if you keep the gain to the right setting they should be fine.

Most of the ratings people have two subs on that amp, so who knows it could blow maybe not you never know. Just keep that gain at a good setting where it sounds good, and don't turn the bass two high on the deck.

audioguy thought u mite liek this link http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/ROCRFR3110 its a power hx2 with 1000w rms, this is much more than the 400w rms that u claim a hx2 cannot have.....

Read his post, his sub says 400watts rms 800watts peak. Those numbers are from an he2 not hx2. His sub is a he2 not hx2.

He says his sub is 400rms and 800watts peak. An hx2 is 1000watts rms 2000watts peak.

Punch HX2 are rated @ 400 watts RMS/800 peak. Power HX2s are 1000 RMS/200 peak.

Put that sub in a 2.5-4cubes ported to 30Hz and WOW!

Your amp should power that sub fine in a poeted or sealed enclosure!
