HU's that support DVD-Audio

I am looking for a DVD-Audio player that IS NOT a video unit. I don't desire any video in my car, but do desire the DVD-Audio 5.1 capabilities.

Does anyone know where I can get on and who makes it?

I am contemplating the 8445 from Eclipse, with surround II or something like that, but it isn't dvd audio compliant.

I thought Clarion made one, and Alpine has it in the F1 package, (Like that will happen for me) but I have had a hard time finding it in any other brand.

I don't think so...there is a special encoding on the disk that must be read by a DVD-Audio reader.

I have been searching since I have heard the DVD-A system in my friends Stock Acura TL.

Man that was a nice sounding system..beat my bose all to hell in my ML350

Unless a deck specifically states it will play DVD-Audio it is NOT compatible. Any DVD player will play the Dolby Digital or DTS tracks but not the advanced resolution of the MLP tracks.

Only one I know of is the Pioneer 7500 which sadly is a flip screen unit.
