Well, I since Sunday I have been in Boynton Beach, FL. I just got back last night to my home in Clewiston, FL. Where I stayed in Boynton Beach, the weather wasn't too bad but the wind was so tremendous, the rain wasn't anything. Clewiston, on the other hand, was 120+MPH winds and over 140MPH wind gusts for nearly 45 minutes when the eye pasted directly over! I am so glad that I left!

The damage was just so unbelievable. Over 18 inches of rain was standing on the highway in Clewiston, this road is like main street where many businesses are on. The Urban Recovery & Rescue Team says nearly 100 homes/trailers are to be condemned or demolished due to damage.

This by far was the worst storm I was ever in. Other than the tornadoes around Indianapolis where I am from. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif That's another ballgame there though....

I took many pics and videos but here are a few that I loaded on PhotoPeg. I didn't include all the pics because the pics do show many people crying and I didn't want their faces on the pics....

Yeah, but those pics from Belle Glade, Clewiston, and Montura were taken yesterday (Weds). The storm hit Monday!

I am going to see if I can get some pics from my friends and parents because my dad had to stay at work with the Corps of Engineers and he said the storm was bad here in Clewiston. The pics that I seen from right after the storm were exactly like Hurricane Andrew! I mean, the entire town looked like a junkyard!

^ yeah I heard about the chaos there. I have some in-laws in Homestead.

You know, I believe that many people took this storm lightly because all of the storms last year. I mean, the projected paths on last year's storms all changed and they didn't get the landfall points right. On the contrary this year though, they were dead on with the projected path. All the computer models showed the eye coming through Clewiston. None the less though, I wouldn't have imagined that the storm was this large though.

I remember hearing on the radio when the eye was entering Palm Beach, then it was just leaving Belle Glade, that Fort Myers was still getting 70MPH winds! This storm was huge. I heard that the Panhandle was the only part of FL that didn't feel this storm. That's HUGE....
