I heard on CNN yesterday, that if a three foot storm surge were to hit NO again, it would be back under water... Mother of God, they can't get a break...

your right, a 3 foot storm surge would put them close to 9 feet under even more than they are now.

I don't think people who are like "just ****in leave" realise how difficult it would be for people. I know being taken away from my house, possesions, and valuable stuff is very difficult... Some people wll never come back to that stuff... I know a persons life is still more important so it makes sense to leave... but what would be the point of living if everything you ever lived for is gone? That is what I know some people are thinking if they leave... they'll be throwing away everything.

But I would still leave... just giving people an idea how difficult of a decision it really is IMO.

Pack up all your pictures, and valubles. I don't know why people don't do this. They leave there stuff and when it's destroyed they think, Jee maybe I should have taken some of it with me...

So the storm shouldn't be too much of a problem for dallas itll probably downgrade quite a bit before reaching here?.... i hope...
