a good friend of mine who lives in Louisiana's ex girlfriend had moved to New Orleans a few months ago, the Hurricane hit and since then she hasn't seen her brother or father, had no contact with them at all. she escaped and made it up to his house and she's staying with him.

i can only imagine how insane it is down there though. out of control...

Yea but the question is is that tax free?? And how are they getting that much fund to pay you an outragous amount??

I don't know about it being tax free. I pretty much doubt that it'll be tax free. I;m getting hired to run clean up duty then rebuild. We have three teams ready to go in when we get the okay. It'll probably be 12-16 hour days, 6-7 days a week. Were going to have to get shots before we go up their.

x10billion 200k/6mo=33.3k a month=about $1100 a day even with 15 hour days that is over $70/hr. Unless you have a phd or master or both in something you need to stfu liar and get a life.

but i love that your helping the community out. yeah ur getting money for helping but i wouldnt really care how much i will recieve or if i get money for helping em. It's just that as long as you helped them and you saved some lifes is the most important. Good luck bro on your journey of adding another extra hand for the communities sake.

I'd suspect that 200,000 is as a 'per diem,' hopefully to be used helpfully, not squandered on ones-self.

I have to stay in the state until the end of the month seeing as how I'm on probation and have my final court date coming up. If help is still needed down there come the first of October, I'll be going to the Red Cross to see what I can do to get down there. I don't care if they pay me nothing more than what I need for food and shelter while I'm there, I'll go.

Thank you LivinLife. I'll be away from my children and my family but I'll be helping out other family's in the process.

How can I prove it at this second? I got the call for this job through my step father. Just waiting on more information. Like I said I found out yesterday so I was letting you guys know whats going on and that I'll be gone for six more months.

Just the company who is funding the operations name. A website. Stuff like that. It's great that you are going to help. If I could get out of work for a month or more, I would probably go. But as far as recieving 200k to go and help. It's hard to belive.

so who exactly is gonna cough up 1 mil for every 5 guys to do this? seems to me as if the money could be spent much better. hell the army guys who live in tents for more then that make about $20-30,000 a year.
