Is it just me or does it seem like service has been getting worse by the month?

I used to get reception EVERYWHERE. I could be in a concrete room 50ft underground and I'd still have 3 bars. Now it seems like I could stand next to a Cingular tower and lose service.

cingular is THE worst. that's why i have it ahahah. no really, i've never had soo many dropped calls or disconnections in my life. my phone will say it has full bars and as soon as i hit 'send' to dial, my bars disappear and it says "call failed" or some bullshit like that. that's what really irks me, the whole bars disappearing when you dial thing. happens like 30x a day. oh and having no reception in my own house is just the tip of the iceberg. i went from t-mobile to cingular...pretty stupid huh. it's been one year with schemeuler, gotta hold out for another year.

Oh hell yeah! I will have the phone in front of me dialing the number and have like 4 bars, move it to my ear and lose all service! What the fvck?! I have no service whatsoever in or around my house, but then again neither do any of my friends. I can seriously take one step in any direction and either gain or lose 4 bars because of that one step. /rant

My phone went through hell when they merged with ATT, but now everything is back to normal. I have 2 friends who work in corporate offices at Cingular and they say the majority of times you get shitty service is because of the phones. Apparently motorolas are pieces of shit.

I havent really had any problems lately...

i usually have decent reception with my motorola v551... but inside buildings theres like no reception whatsoever.

i have the same prob im making a call and all of a sudden it says call failed and then i have to call them over again its been like tht for months now... then they changed my voicemaill all i have to do is press 1 they didnt inform me they sent the bill and it said that my voicemail was being changed i didnt like that plus i have yo wait 1 more year sucks

I have that sony ericsson phone, and my service is pretty good for the most part. Only at my house back at home would I not get reception, but noone did either. Only our nextel's got service.

nextel phones are so retarded though. they're like gigantic blocks of radiation.

i had cingular, that sucked. i now have t-mobile, not that great either. verizon is where it's at.

on a sidenote, does anyone know why my computer speakers make a noise right before someone receives a cellphone call in my house? i'm guessing some sort of frequency interference.
