HU wont take cd

my alpine 9831 for some reason wont take a cd. u can put it in bout 3/4 the way then it wont go any farter and the face closes like its all the way in... is there a way to reset the HU so everything internal goes back to normal or do i need to send it in

if somthing is jammed inside. or the cd track is off. resetting it wont help. . you need to send it in.
