anyone in the woodlands, texas area?

im looking for some help tuning my set up. i have good components, cables and wireing, but it just doesnt sound quite right. i want someone local to listen to it, who can make some suggestions or help me tweak the sound. i have an suv with an alpine 9857hu, jl 300/4, 250/1, 10wo, focal 165 v1's up front and 130 ca's in the back. jl 4 ga power and ground, street wires 16 ga twisted speaker wire, and xl2 rca cables.

That JL running those Focal's should be incredible as it is. I have the 165V1's and its the only pair of speakers in my car at the moment and they are amazing.

My guess would have to be that your install leaves something to be desired. Who installed the stuff...did they deaden the car and such?

Also, what SUV?

i'm assuming you've messed with the settings in the headunit... any way u can describe what sounds wrong to you? is the car deadened? sealed enclosure? what size?

I think the woodlands is right north of Austin actually. Either way I know they have the best high school guys cross country team in the state since like.....ever

its an 01 jeep cherokee i installed everything my self the doors have not been deadened the comps are mounted in the stock locations( bottom of door for the mid and top corner by the window for the tweeters) aimed at center of the dash the box is sealed .75 cu ft the sound is kind of muddy not very detailed and the woodlands is just north of houston on I 45
