I have a clarion head unit and a clarion EQ and a hifonics 3way xover.

My question is, if I use a cheap Pyle DVD player for a head unit, will my sq and or sol be affected?

I ask because at the car show I recently went to, I saw one of the eBay head units in one of the loudest and clearest setups I've ever heard in person.

Any Pyle head unit is going to be a step down from a Clarion. To some extent, using the Clarion EQ and crossover will help, but you still have that lower quality signal at the beginning of the signal chain.
