HU Problems

Ok well last night I installed my system, I had an alpine 9830 it played while I was testing everything out, then I un-plugged the harness from the cd player let everything else the way it was and then I plugged it back in, the problem is that it wouldnt turn back on, I checked everything the fuses, wires, etc. Still wouldnt turn on, so I figured the cd player is jacked up.

My new clarion came in today, I tried to hook it up, but that cd player wont turn on also. What could be the problem?

id say you simply tore a wire out of the harness or something. these problems are usually caused by something very simple

Check your fuses, and (believe it or not) make sure the antenna plug is in. Certain head units, including many Alpines, will not operate without the antenna plug...

check ALL ur fuses in ur fuse box... when i first hooked my hu up, i had 5 blown fuses. 2 of them were to my radio.
