I have almost all original documentation and hardware for both units. The JVC has everything it came with including the original box. The Ural is missing a couple pieces, the mic which Ben(of ED and original owner) can't find, and the black remote that hit pavement at 50mph. Otherwise, everything is there.

I want one or the other sold. I don't really care which one, but there's no point in holding onto two of them. I'll just keep whichever does not sell first. :p

Ok, I'm seeing a bit of interest but poor timing, lack of funds, etc.

I will open offers up to a hold fee. I will take $100 as a hold fee for the unit. You will gain first rights to purchase the unit over anyone else and then have exactly one month from the payment of the hold fee to pay the rest of the cost to actually fully purchase the unit.

I will continue to hold on the HU until it is fully paid for. The hold fee simply provides a down payment and full rights to purchase the unit first before anyone else. The downside is if you do not eventually fully pay the remainder cost of the unit, you both give up the first to buy rights of the unit as well as the $100 hold fee.

Now $100 is mildly substancial, yes, but I will suggest this:

(1) because it deters casual lookers from just plopping down $10-$20 and saying give me but then never ends up paying while making other potential buyers wait for a long period of time, probably eventually moving on to other units

(2) because it indicates some seriousness in the purchase of the unit, an actual desire to own the unit rather than simply a faint want. It indicates a will on your part.

I did this with another forum member over my Alpine Flagship tweeters(Scan 6000), and it worked out well for both of us. I know timing is poor at times, and this seems to be a good compromise method.

Other than an all-out full purchase of one of the two units, this is the only other method I will consider.

Thanks.

Too bad most people think of JVC's HU as budget level stuff, or worse yet, cheap junk. JVC's always had better build quality and durability than Pioneer(yeah, I said it:laugh:). You just can't beat the bang for the buck of the Pioneer units, especially the EQing power among entry level units.

You'd think there'd be more interest in this stuff. Well there is but only from broke people. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
