HU Backgrounds?

I am getting my Pioneer AVH-P6600DVD back soon and I was wondering if anyone knew if you can load your own personal backgrounds to it. Lemme know, thanks.

I don't think you can though sadly. I wanna change the background on it, but I was reading some forum about the AVH-P6800DVD and it said it couldn't so I figure it's the same on mine

Ok, just read over the owner's manual, it doesn't state anything about being able to upload custom backgrounds to the unit. It states that you can change the background while any of the sources are playing but its limited to the backgrounds already programmed into the unit. For that price, you figure you might be able to. Sucks.

yea i wish they would put this feature in indash monitors, i hate having only like 4 choices to change, i wish they could change color too

the pioneer 860 i had was cool you put put anything you want on there, it would be even better now with a 7" screen

i did find a way to make custom background on my kenwood, put gif images on a DVD video, but you couldnt do anythign with music control and such
