Hu and front stage connected to speakers??

So my Hu all the wires are soldered and wire capped in the back and i'm adding a front stage amp, could i just solder on a wire that leads to the front stage amp or should i cut off my hu power to the fronts.....Should i cut off the hu, its more work but was just wondering if i could leave it on?

disconect them from the hu. you will fry the hu or amp or both.

Thanks man..wasn't sure if i power with both it seemed logical but the voltage drop made me worry from my other stuff.....
