ive read on here that people take regular pvc and make it a flared aero port by heating it up??? what else do you do? does anyone have some pics of the steps id be taking?

I've never tried it, but I've seen people do it with a heat gun and a metal bowl. Seems pretty simple - heat it up quite a bit, and press it down on the bowl to start stretching it while applying more heat. It would probably be a lot easier if you have someone heating it up while you pressed down on the bowl.. You could probably use a ceramic bowl as well.

that kinda just seems like it would make the opening bigger??? what gives it the lip? maybe im just missing something? i plan to use 6' pvc but ive read the flared aero is what makes a big difference...

ya i saw how he did his with the plates. are the flared really that much different than the pvc? i see alot of both being used.

you could use pvc, attatch it to the side wall, and use a roundover bit on the opening of the wall
