Well I got the two 15's in the trunk of my Civic today. Hard to do but I did it finally.

Box is 5 CuFt tuned to 30Hz. Subs are older Phoenix Gold 15's, only been played twice. Amped off a Jensen power amp.

Hey i can't wait to be slammed for such crappy low end stuff. This combination though throws so much air and at 30 on the cd player starts making you feel smothered. It seriously felt like someone was choking me.

Love it!

Just goes to show it's all in the install. Took me awhile to design the box and get it in the trunk.

5cft isnt a ton of space for 215's, but sound like they're fine

Might want a new amp though, Jensen isnt known for making quality stuff

most PG stuff is abut midlevel quality.... i havent used any of their stuff I havent liked for the install it was in. few friends had them way back. jensen is lower end, and prolly does jsut fine for that setup....those things dont need a lot of power. hope you still love it a month from now!

Facing the rear of the trunk.

I'm looking into a new amp future wise. I just can't believe the bass I'm getting from this set up. I've heard alot of systems, not saying this is the best by far but bass to the point of a smothering feeling, what else could ya want!

I'll have pics up once the wires are tucked in and it quits raining.

if this is your first setup...it doesnt take much for that feeling. not saying your install isnt loud cuz it just as well could be. Hope you have a blast with it. watch the gains and bass boost and dont bump at night.

No, my first system was a JL 15W6 powered by an old Precision Power Art amp in the back of my '95 Eagle Talon.

Since then I've had:

2 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch in a '91 Mazda RX-7 running off a PPI amp again

1 15" Cerwin Vega Stroker running off a US VLX amp in a Chevy Celebrity

2 12" JL W6 off PPI in a Mitsubishi Eclipse

1 15" Ed-k 03 model running off a Profile amp

plus the many systems I've heard hanging around the car audio shops.

I'm not really a newbie, that's why I'm shocked a bit at these 2 15's.

Actually they aren't Titaniums. I looked at the magnet once but forgot because I was so frustrated getting the box in my trunk.

They are black cones with the PG logo. Something like XG 158? Could be wrong. When i get pics up you may know.
