Actually I've heard people say they like that aspect best about them. Thats kind of why I'm looking at them as well.

i would be interested in hearing one set-up for daily use. for as loud as they can get, if they still sound half decent i might consider it as my next sub. too bad i know of nowhere to hear them in person. anyone in ontario, canada have one that would be willing to let me have a listen?

Not too sure on the box, what would you guys recommend for SQ? Well, I say that, but I have the room to go ported, so I don't really know why I wouldn't.

i think they sound really good. mine is in a temporary box 2 cubes 32hz and it surprised me. i usually like SQ subs (last 3 were xxx, mag, and w7) and the HD3 definately sounds good and keeps up with quick beats

That's cool man, I'm just asking because I've narrowed my choices down to either one 12" Mag or one 12" HD3. The Mag would be run off of a Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D and the HD3 would get it's power from a Kicker ZX2500.
