i have never heard any pg speakers but those pb speakers dont sound terrible for what they cost.

the powerbass's get a 2.3

the pg's get a 4.6

The comps were in the front doors and the coaxs were in the rear of the car....

I was going to run the rear PB's off the HU and a new pair of Comps off a JBL80.4

Or should i just try and sell both and find speakers with a lower sensitivity for rear fill??

I could use the comps for rear fill as well.....

i wouldnt use either for rear fill personally if i was to use any i would lean towards just the pg mids, not the tweets.

i would sell them all and get a new comp set for front, maybe some 6.5in mid bass's for the rear fill.

Okay, thats what i was wondering,

anybody know a good speaker for rear fill of 18rms?

PB. would'nt recomend them as anything. I went thru 3 sets in a matter of weeks.

The last set i had the shop install because they said my Zapco 25x2 amp was not gained right.

So they installed them set the gain to half, (I had it set to less then 1/4) and as soon as the volume reached 1/2 way, they smoked. Needless to say they refunded my cash.

The pg, good mid level speakers. value for money.

I have a set of the PG TI Elites. Not to impressed with them.

First the tweeters blew, PG warrantied. Those blew in a few days again.

Now running Boston Tweets instead.

The mids (Morel) left side had the rubber come unglued from the cone about 3/4 the way around. OK ,CA glue that one back.

Just this week the left started seperating. Had to glue that one up now.

For a $700 set, you think they would hold up better.

BTW, They were running on about 1/2 -3/4 rms on a properly gained quality amp.

There are some on parts express that are not to bad price wise

If you get rear fill. Don't run highs back there.

High frequencies are much more localized to the ear. Or just clip the tweeter wires on the coax.
