How would you rate Orion 1200D amps?

With impedance rise at 1ohm you should be fine.

Umm because it isn't possible to wire two dvc 4ohm subs to 2ohms perhaps?

ok thanks everybody for your advice , as yu can see i am new to this sort of thing but i really want alot of power out of these subs.

oh and also will i need an additional battery or a new alternator? could i just buy a capacitor instead?

dont buy a capacitor, do a search on the Forum for the big three and do that.
