How would this setupt do?

I should be getting my kenwood amp soon, as long as my ebay seller doesn't hoe me out.

This is the amp

However, Im looking to get a 15" sub and ported box for the amp...I am having trouble finding a sub under 200 that will work well with this amp.

any suggestions?

The "ohm" (aka impedance //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) is important for matching it up with your amp. You don't want an impedence below what your amp is stable into. So, for that amp, you want to be sure you end up with a sub that has a 4ohm impedance (which, the Atlas does have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

yeah.. and also, if youre looking into dual voice coil woofers, then get a dual 2 ohm woofer. that can be wired to give you a final impedance of 4 ohms. most single voice coil woofers are 4 ohm woofers, so those are fine, but most will probably be DVC.

And bridged amp RMS us usually rated at 4ohm so I think the Atlas would be a good choice.

Why a 15, why not a 12? I say a IDQ 12 or Alpine Type R 12. About 100-150 on ebay, port it will be nice.

But if you want a 15, maybe ED K 15 or O series.

why NOT a 15? more cone area (more spl), usually lower extension, and sometimes more power handling than a 12 of the same model

Yeah for a cherokee i think a 15 would do well, i mean yeah i debated between 12 and 15 for like 2 weeks and im still not 100% sure, i just want best for my amp yet still in price range.
