They have really poor off-axis response, so you'd want to have them installed in such a way that they point right at your ears.

Excellent tweeter all around. Especially nice for the price. Non-fatiguing for a metal dome, and excellent low end capability down to 2khz. The grill on this model differs from the silk version and allows for better off-axis response.

This tweeter is by far the most popular DIY tweeter out there right now.

i'd disagree on the off axis being bad. althoguh FR graphs show bad off axis response, i've listened to these tweeters in a car where they were installed in kicks cross firing and were excellent. didn't have problems in the top end. just needs some work tuning with the eq.

I have not seen anyone complaining about the off-axis response on the Seas. Reading all the rave reviews I would say these are one of the best tweeters on the market even at a higher price point. I have not heard them yet but thats just becuase I have not ordered them yet.
