I got 2 Massive P1000.1 amps they do 1000 @ 1 ohm each. I am tryin to push 2 Massive CW 10s. I was messin around a few days ago with the amps and ran the rcas to one amp and used the other rca outputs and ran another set of rca cables to the other amp. Then i ran a positive from one amp and a negative from another amp and the subs both worked. Is this a proper way to run subs or are my amps in danger of messing up or am i just wrong period.

The reason i did this is because i would rather run to much power rather then runnin too less of power to the subs. Amps only do 500 rms @ 2 ohms.

if thats how u do it then yes. i just didnt know if that was the correct way or not. or if it would ruin my amps and or subs.
"IF" your amps are even strappable, you take the negative on one amp, and connect it to the other negative on the other amp.

Then you take the positive of amp, and connect it to the positive on the subwoofer.

Take the other positive of the other amp, and connect that to the negative of the subwoofer.
